Daystays & Overnights.
Planning a weekend away and want to be sure your pooch is safe and happy? Traumatised you want to go on holiday but dont trust anyone with your precious dog? Commuting into town and dog home alone? Chris will take your pooch for a daystay and/or overnight stay and take all the guilt out of your life! Pooches are treated like a member of the family in a double fenced large property. Room to play, sleep and get a cuddle. Warning: your special pooch might not want to come home!
Puppies: Due to high demand puppies are not being accepted for stays (under two years old) but breed, training and circumstances can mean some rare exceptions - do call 021 324 747 to discuss you and your pup’s situation.
Overnight and Daystay pooches get total TLC and it’s like a holiday retreat with fun and exercise. Along with two walks a day they will have the company of at least two other dogs and may even get to sleep on a cosy Queen bed!
Accommodation is popular so be sure to book well in advance. If booking several days only overnight charges apply, except if check in and/or checkout are a full day. Daystays are charged in those cases.
Pooch Day and Night Pricing:
Weekdays
Weekday Daystays - $45 Puppies if approved) $55
Daystay Timing: Drop off before 8am to include a pack walk . Daystay pickup before 5pm.
Early drop off and/or later pickups: Check availability. $10 per hour outside 8am - 5pm.
Half Days (less than four hours) - $30
Overnights - $60
Weekends and Public Holidays
Weekend Daystays - $60 8-5pm. (Puppies $70 if approved)
Weekend Overnights 4pm-10am: Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights $70, (Puppies $80 if approved)
If dropping off in the morning for an overnight, a daystay will also apply. The same applies if pick-up is after 10am.
Other Weekend Variables: (Weekend Half Day = $40, Weekend Full Day $60). Any late night pick ups: $10 per hour from 5pm. Generous Discounts apply after a seven night stay and then discounts increase per week after that. Ask for a specific quote especially if you are away for a few weeks. Discounts don't apply December-January.
Two dogs from one family : weekdays $80 Overnights $110; weekend days $110, weekend nights $130
Bring:
Each dog’s diet is different so bring your pooch’s own food if overnight. If daystay feed your dog at home. Use named ziplock bags with preferred quantity for meals. Beds and crates are available for all dogs. Ensure your dog is registered, has a collar on firmly and a lead. Do not bring blankets, toys or dishes or tupperware. Double check your dog’s flea treatment is up to date. Your dog will be walked up to twice a day depending on its age and energy level and your lead needs to be named. Text confirmation of exact time of arrival two mins prior or so, so you can be greeted with minimal barking.

Note: a dog’s behaviour and health is unpredictable. Pooch in Paradise will treat your dog like a member of the family but won’t foot the bill for any unforseen circumstances eg a vet visit. Ensure you have pet insurance for any unexpected event.
