Exercise.

Pooch in Paradise has a pack run each morning and afternoon. Furry clients who are there for the daystay usually get dropped off before 8am so they don’t miss out. Walks are in the morning because the island can get too hot in the afternoon.

This is a fabulous opportunity for your pooch to socialise and enjoy a good fun romp for up to an hour. Pack runs normally start 8.30am and go until after 9.30am. Later on (time is depending on beach restrictions) a walk will take place late afternoon as well.

Depending on the season, the weather and how busy the island is, pack runs are usually on Waiheke’s beautiful trails and/or beaches. These are for dogs (not puppies) and are a fabulous time to celebrate canine life in the best possible way - amongst nature and great company, all led by and experienced Pack Leader and assistant. Dogs need to be obedient as these runs are off lead. New dogs are kept on lead until behaviour and recall is checked.

Older Dogs, Post Surgery or Injuries:

All care is taken with older dogs or those furry friends overcoming an injury should they need to be onlead.

Puppies:

Usually pack runs are for dogs two years and over, have great recall and can be off lead. It’s it’s a bit like taking a toddler out with grown ups. If you have a puppy enquire what days puppy runs are taking place.

Walks cost:

$25 and arrangements for pick up and drop off are available subject to existing bookings and commitments.
